Kingdom of God

 

KINGDOM OF GOD 
Matthew 6:33

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

 

When your heart is empty and your mind is weighed down by the cares of life, there is someone that you can run to. Jesus is waiting for you and desires to have a relationship with you. He is the good Shepherd, and He is out searching for His sheep. The sheep are spread out all over and abroad. There’s no place that He will not go to find you and rescue His sheep.

The seasons are passing, and the troubles of life will always be in the world. The bills will come monthly, illness, rejection, crime, poverty, hurt, despair, disappointments one after another, etc. The Word of God tells us that these things will come to all because there is no rest in the world. We are walking on a path called “life” that has so many uncertainties and there are no guarantees of peace, joy, and rest. But in Jesus, you will find all these divine blessings, if you seek Him and accept His will for your life, you will not have to walk the journey alone. He wants to guide you, protect, and feed your soul with His bread of life the Word.

Please take the time to calm your mind and soul and ponder on the kingdom of God. The Lord has given you His Word and promises that if you seek His kingdom first, He will add all His righteousness to you. So, what that truly means is that you must stop chasing after the things and the cares of this life and allow your mind to shift and be transformed by the Word of God. We must hunger and thirst after His righteousness and search the scriptures to understand what God is saying to us about the promises of God, salvation, repentance, faith, forgiveness, presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice for God’s service.

As you begin to read, meditate, and ponder on the Word of God, you will start to learn the principles of being a new believer and follower of Christ and study the scriptures to learn about Jesus Christ. He is the first step to coming into the kingdom of God. We must believe in Him and accept Him as our Lord and Savior. 

Our minds must be renewed daily through the Word. The old way of thinking must change for us to live for the Kingdom of God now. His kingdom is spiritual, and His Word is too. On this side of heaven, we must read the Word to grow in the knowledge, and wisdom and understanding of who God is and come to Him as babes. The earthly issues and disappointments will no longer plague our minds and hearts as before because the Lord is removing the strongholds and distractions that held us bond to living this life. The Word is severing and removing away the roots that were tied to our hearts and minds. The power of the Word cleanses and washes us as we cry out to know God. Now our mind, sou, and spirit is aligning us with the will of God in Christ Jesus. He will send the helper which is the Holy Spirit. He will come into our lives and abide within us and help us through everything as we walk the journey. He promises to seal us to Him until the day of redemption for Christ.  Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

You have the power and the light to lead

While I seek Your kingdom
