Plant the Seed

Plant the Seed
Ecclesiastes 11:5-6

5 As you do not know what is the way of the wind, Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who makes everything.
6 In the morning sow your seed, And in the evening do not withhold your hand; For you do not know which will prosper, Either this or that, Or whether both alike will be good.

Some people are just aimlessly wandering the earth with no purpose or wisdom. Their hearts seem to be carefree because they have the freedom to pick up and go from this place to there. This could go on for years, it may look like an adventurous lifestyle to emulate. If one could travel the world and experience many cultures and be a part of it all.

However, it may be appealing and entertaining to listen to the stories of a person who have had the privileged to live this kind of life. But there comes a time when all that we’ve done and seen will no longer be seen. For many will be forgotten as if they’ve never lived. There is no legacy or harvest to say anything for all that time spent adoring vanity.

Here’s another way to look at how we squander our time. Many of us wake up seeking something to do for fun because we are bored with our lives. We’re so determined to find something to do, until we become restless and that’s when the enemy really steps in. Unfortunately, this is how Satan introduces people to new things and people to people who have bad habits that are no good for us. This is one of the crafty things that he does to lure us away from our path to purpose.

When we start to entertain the ungodly company that appeals to our senses and flesh, we are wasting precious time. We truly have lost our way and have stumbled on the forbidden path of destruction. Before we know it, we’ve hit rock bottom because now we’re battling with all kinds of addictions, spiritual demonic attacks, unequally yoked to people, running around in life with more confusion inside our minds and hearts.

This was Satan’s plan all along to distract us from finding our path and purpose in living for God.   You see, time is far greater than any currency because we could spend our whole lives chasing after the things that gives us pleasure and have lucked up on some good fortune and prosperity, but it cannot buy or extend the time that has been set by God to us. Time is something that is divine, and it is given to each person with a number of days that are assigned to each man.

Let us wake up and be vigilant with how we use our time and be conscientious about the choices that we make because it will reap a harvest of what we have sown. Many of us are probably still asleep because we tend to look at ourselves in the mirror and think that our bodies aren’t really aging or we’re still in our youth. Nonetheless, let us be mindful when we follow this as our guide for knowing or measuring our time, we have placed our vanity above the wisdom of the Word of God.

We must stop and take heed to listen to the wisdom of the Lord for He knows all things and is able to make things happen.  Pray to know Him above all else and seek to fulfill our purpose in life. There are good times and things that have been granted to us and there will be times of much sorrow. Run to the Word of the Lord to find refuge, strength, and hope.

As we grow in understanding the Word of God the seed has been planted! Our souls and spirit will become awakened by the Holy Spirit as He opens our eyes of understanding to see what’s happening in the spirit realm. There is a path in the spirit that’s assigned to each of us to reach our destiny.

Now we must stop looking outward into the world to find heaven’s treasures. These blessings are bestowed upon us as we apply God’s wisdom and obey His Word. Be ready to receive whatever it is that God has for you to do. There is a spiritual harvest that yields from generation to generation. Our Father in heaven is watching over us. There is no more time to sit around and waste on feeling sorry for ourselves because it’s unfruitful. Now is the time to open the Word and bless His holy name.

The seed of righteousness is the Word therefore, we must learn it and apply it as we obey and follow the One who gives us the seed to sow. Jesus is our good Shepherd, and we are His sheep. The Holy Spirit is teaching and guiding those of us who are in pursuit of fulfilling our destiny while here on earth. The day for reaping is not far away but you must first sow.

Inspiring Souls

While I witness about the Lord

I am releasing the power of His anointing

As He fills my soul

I will open my mouth and speak soft words

I pray that I can be a blessing

For I know that the Lord will smile upon me

I am sowing into the lives of others

I believe that I will reap during the harvest

Yes, listen to this message and trust it

Watch the words that you impart to one another

Everything that you do will prosper

Learn to apply wisdom and courage

 You are sharing your wealth

In due season your reaping will be millions

Let God use you for His glory
