Painful
Blessings
1 Chronicles 4:9-10
9 Now
Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his
name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in
pain.” 10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You
would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be
with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause
pain!” So God granted him what he requested.
As we
learn to live in the light and in right standing with God the road is forming a
path for each of us to reach our destiny. The prayers that we’ve prayed are
being answered. The Lord is merciful and loving in all His ways. He is our
sovereign source and Omniscient. He sees the things that are best for His
children and the purpose to our lives.
Everyone
has a purpose to fulfill while here on earth. God has equipped us with gifts,
talent, and abilities and graced us to give birth to our purpose. We often look
to people to help us find what it is that we’re created to do. But no one truly
knows what the full potential of anyone is, or their purpose because as humans
we have limited understanding and are not the Creator the One who designed us
to know such intimate things that are buried inside each of us.
When we
pray to our heavenly Father, we can ask Him to reveal it and help us to fulfill
our purpose. He wants to be involved and given the glory for His Omnipotent
masterpiece that will be manifested through the birthing process.
This
entails many tests, trials, tribulations, pain, rejection, hurt, struggles that
are unforeseen, transformation and birth. The preparation is different for
everyone of us. Therefore, we must realize that our purpose is being revealed
little by little through the things that we’re experiencing good and bad. It is
a self-discovery process that nobody can predict entirely what will happen just
because some of us may be having it harder than others in life. So, count it as
joy when you’re going through because there’s a reason for it.
As
humans it’s easy to write folks off when their lives don’t match ours or are
different from our expectations of what someone else’s life looks like or
should be. Yes, it hurts when the nay sayer’s send their negative energy our
way, but we must keep pushing past it and having to hear the criticism of what
we are doing in our lives and feeling like maybe all this pain and suffering
isn’t worth it because no one see’s or are acknowledging the good that we’re
doing for God.
Remember
this is all a part of the process to birthing the purpose. We must be strong
and follow the Holy Spirit because He’s with us guiding our steps towards
greatness. We’re growing and overcoming the bad things and hard times we’ve
been through. This is all God bestowing His grace and favor upon us. We must
recognize it for what it is it is all the Lord’s doing and plan to bring us out
and guide us to Him. The journey is like a long road that has twists, sharp
turns, detours, roadblocks, u-turns, construction, accidents, stops, signs, and
mile markers along the way.
When God
reveals our vision to us for our lives, He did not show it to everybody that we
love or may be close to, He only revealed it to you the reader and listener. It
is yours and each person must pursue their own dream and purpose because God
designed it that way on purpose. He will not share His glory with no man.
There
will be times when we cannot understand why people are acting mean or funny
towards us. The more driven we become in laboring for our purpose and vision
that God gave to us we’re going to lose people, friends and other relationships
that mean a lot to us. That’s another test to show us how bad do we want what
God has for us. Do we quit laboring for our purpose to be fulfilled because
other folks close to us is not happy with us anymore? No, we must not quit
pursuing our God given destiny, but we must love people where they are. On the
path the Lord is teaching us to live right according to His standards and
creating a clean heart and right spirit within us. So that our walk and lives will
bring Him the praise and glory.
Life has
many ups and downs, and we cannot stop trying to become the best version of
ourselves as we grow into new creations in Christ. Many people are not sure if
they believe in God or that He exists for whatever the reason is that’s how
they feel but we the believers and followers of Jesus Christ believe He is God.
Our
faith knows God and our spirits too. The Holy Spirit moves around us like the
wind, providing the wisdom and knowledge that we need to become victorious in
living and being ambassadors for Christ. Serving in our purpose helps us to
reach people from all walks of life and love them as Christ have. It’s all
about Jesus, He created everyone and hid these divine blessings within our
vessels to birth God’s glory on earth, so that the world will see and know that
His works are good and predestined and written in the Word to affirm that man
and life are nothing without Him. Ephesians 2:10 For we are His
workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared
beforehand that we should walk in them.
Painful
Blessings
Although
dark clouds hang low
My
soul knows His power
I
will not stop seeking
While
I endure the pain
For
there’s a blessing waiting
In
Thy Word I must believe
This
is only a season to prosperity
As
I build my faith in Jesus’ name
When
I look back over my life
I
can attest that He made a way
My
blessing is within reach
As
I face each day that He grants
I
can hold to His promises
There’s
new mercies waiting
