Opening
Doors
Isaiah 45:1-5
1 “Thus says
the Lord to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I
have held— To subdue nations before him And loose the armor of kings,
To open before him the double doors,
So that the gates will not be shut: 2 ‘I will go before you And make
the crooked places straight;
I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron. 3 I
will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places,
That you may know that I, the Lord,
Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.
4 For Jacob My servant’s sake, And Israel My elect, I have even
called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me.
5 I am the Lord, and there is no other; There
is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me,
As we seek the kingdom of God we
must always pray and lean not to our own understanding. The Kingdom is God’s
dwelling residence where He reigns and is sovereign. It is not a physical place
where one can search on google for the address and go there. But it is a
spiritual place where our Savior and Lord dwells.
When we pray to the Father, we
must believe that He is real and trust that He hears us. Our hearts and minds
must push past our doubts and fears about how we are thinking about life,
ourselves and the things that are troubling us. No one knows entirely about
what we’re going through in our lives but Jesus. He created us and knew our
beginning and the end of our stories. Genesis 1:26-28 Then God said, “Let
Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have
dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the
cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on
the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in
the image of God He created him; male and female He created
them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be
fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over
the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing
that moves on the earth.”
Therefore, we know that God
blessed what He created because He saw that it was good. When our hearts are right
before the Lord, we should not doubt that He doesn’t see our efforts and
desires. Everything that we need and want He is able to do it for us. But first
we must seek the kingdom of God. We must activate our faith to grow in
understanding the process of trusting God.
Faith is one of the keys to the kingdom of God
that God has given to each person. What is the importance of having faith? Hebrews
11:6 But without faith it is impossible to
please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is,
and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. It is a
spiritual key that grants us access to opening doors that we cannot physically
touch nor see to obtain the blessings, opportunities, answers to our prayers,
reveal destinies, purpose, breakthroughs, miracles, healings, etc. in our
lives.
There is an abundance that
awaits our diligence as we seek the Lord. He is doing a spiritual work in us as
we pray to Him and move by faith. We please Him when we get up and put one foot
in front of the other towards achieving our assignments, dreams, endeavors,
calling, destinies, mission, and purpose. This ignites a fire under us to
search for Him when we come into the knowledge that all things are possible to
him who believes.
As we build our faith in God through
studying the scriptures, He releases His power upon us to understand His Word.
There are times when God may reveal visions to us and give us dreams to see
images of what He’s doing in the spirit for us. He’s opening our eyes to show us what’s
happening in the spirit. This increases our faith to further trust Him. We must
journal these dreams and visions. Habakkuk 2:2-4 Then
the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And
make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. 3 For the
vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak,
and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it
will surely come, It will not tarry. 4 “Behold the proud, His soul is not
upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.
Many people ears perk up when hearing how
to get a blessing, but they don’t want to go through the process to receive it.
Therefore, it causes them to lose interest or turn away. But the righteous must
live by faith and keep seeking the One who is able to bring it to pass. Jesus
is the author and finisher of our faith. He has bestowed upon every person a
measure of faith according to the Father’s will and purpose.
We are nothing without God in our lives.
It is He who we must give our praises and thanks for giving us the grace to
endure life and carry out the will of the Father. As individuals we have
different dreams and goals that are uniquely assigned to us. But to fulfill our
life’s mission we need to find the blueprint or know someone who can mentor,
coach and guide us along our paths. In most cases people seek to become an
apprentice so that they will have some experience and knowledge before they
embark on their journey.
However, either way we need faith to
start and finish any endeavor. But in Christ we are commanded to first seek the
kingdom of God and all His righteousness will be added to us. While we’re
reading, studying the Word of the Lord, and pouring out our hearts to find Him
and know His will; He is making a road for us in the wilderness and rivers in
the desert. There will be “end of the road” signs and dry places that we’ll
encounter but the goodness of God is on our side to grant us access by creating
a bridge and opening new passages for us to follow and remain in His will.
We can rejoice along the way as we
triumph over many obstacles, detours, loss, lack to plenty, sickness to
recovery, shelter in the storm, rainbows after the storm and supernatural
provisions, manifestations of visions and dreams coming to pass. The mercies of
God are poured out on the righteous for diligently seeking Him. Doors are
opening upon our arrival. The blessings that we’ve prayed for and cried out to
the Lord are ours.
The tears and pain were worth it. Now we
know the One from whom all the blessings flow. Jesus is the way, the truth, and
the life. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the
truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through
Me. Revelation 3:7-8 “And
to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things
says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of
David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one
opens”: 8 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open
door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My
word, and have not denied My name.
He holds the keys to open doors and shut
doors. He sits on the throne with His Father. Our abba who are in heaven we
thank You for knowing what’s best for all your children. Thank you for Your,
Son Jesus.
Opening
Doors
I cannot see through darkness
For
my hope is in the Lord
As
I pray, please draw near
Lord,
You know the doors that I face
My
life is nothing without You
I’ve
learned that there is a purpose in the storm
I
cannot tell You how much I fear
When
my back is against the wall
For
I believe that You are with me
You
ordered my steps
When
I look back over my life
You’ve
opened many doors
As
You lead my soul
I
will pray at every door that I encounter
As
I move forth to complete Your work
