Let It Go
Luke 13:6-9
6 He
also spoke this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree planted
in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found
none. 7 Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three
years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down;
why does it use up the ground?’ 8 But he answered and said to
him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and
fertilize it. 9 And if it bears fruit, well. But if
not, after that you can cut it down.’”
Sometimes,
we will not always get the victory. When we’ve done all that we know how to
express our concerns about the unfair things that has happened to us. Even
though we may have the evidence or proof to prove our innocence or claim in a
matter and still the truth is not enough to vindicate our cause. It can be
devasting to have endured a trial of some sort that has damaged our spirits,
wiped the smile off our faces, taken the joy out of us for living and to see
the injustice happening every day in the news is horrendous.
How do
we continue living at this point? We must turn to God’s Word and find the
scriptures that speaks to our souls. The Word of the Lord is a balm in Gilead
it is the spiritual medicine that we need to heal our broken hearts and spirits.
The Word of God is healing us from our trauma, pain, troubles, worries, and
quieting our hearts from the noise in the world so that our inner man can
receive the messages that He is speaking to us.
When we
study and read the Word the Holy Spirit is working to remove the scales from
our eyes to help us to see how we’re blind by the things that we see in the
physical world. Yet this is a lifelong process for the believer. There are
principalities and wickedness and powers in high places, operating in darkness
in the spirit realm in this age. Things are not always as they appear to be
therefore, the Word of God says that we must put on the whole armor of God.
Many of
us have no clear understanding of what it really means to put on the whole
armor of God. First, we must understand that the battles, attacks, and strong
holds we’re having are spiritual and certain disagreements leading to violence
with people is not the real battle. They are only the vessels being used by
these spiritual hosts of wickedness who are against God. Before we can engage
in the fight, we must understand who we’re fighting and why we’re being
targeted.
The
armor is the Word of the Lord it is not any man-made artillery or physical
weapon. The Word teaches us about truth what is considered truth in the kingdom
of God, and it is certainly reliable when God stamps it as so. We are to seek
His righteousness because it is a requirement for being a citizen in His
kingdom for right living that pleases the Lord. We are to live in peace knowing
what God’s Word have promised to us those who are called His. No matter who or
what comes against us we must protect our faith. It is our shield which
protects us from giving in to Satan’s plan which is to kill, steal and destroy
us. He’s after our faith and the Word of God that’s planted within us.
We must
let it go whoever has wronged us or didn’t love or accept us. The Lord has a
better plan for us, and His love is everlasting. Ponder on knowing that Jesus
lives, and He saves. He will vindicate the righteous the saints. All the hurt,
suffering and pain is only for a while. We are sowing in tears now, but we
shall reap joy.
We are
sojourners for only an appointed time. The seasons, trials, tests, and the
struggles of life will eventually come to an end. However, that is not the end
for the people of God. We shall stand on the Word of the Lord and let His glory
be revealed in our faith as we trust in Jesus. Our hearts and spirits are
witnessing through our faith that God is who He says He is. Hallelujah!
God is
our judge, and He is fair in all His ways. Everything that we do and give to
Him will not be forgotten. We must pick
ourselves up and dry our tears and believe by faith that the Lord will bring us
out because we are His children. Let us ponder on these scriptures: Revelation
22:10-11 10 And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy
of this book, for the time is at hand. 11 He who is unjust, let
him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is
righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy
still.” 2 Timothy 4:8 Finally, there is laid up for me the
crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to
me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His
appearing.
There is
something greater coming just hold on. It is written in His Word that He is the
Prince of Peace and the Righteous Judge. We must stand on the Word and remember
that God has counted us righteous when we believed by faith in His Son Jesus.
Yes, Christ’s blood was the final payment to satisfy our sin debt with God.
Jesus rose from the grave with all the power to grant us eternal life by grace
through our faith.
We must,
therefore, stand still and fight the enemy with the Word of the Lord when he
comes to us with his lies, tormenting us about the things we’ve done wrong,
working schemes, and treacherous plots against our lives. Let it go all the
pasts hurt, sins, disappointments, and frustrations, because we’ve been
forgiven by the Blood of the Lamb. Jesus is our advocate and wonderful
counselor and worthy of our trust and faith in Him. There is no other god like
Him. Revelation 19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white
horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in
righteousness He judges and makes war.
Let
It Go
What
good is it to sit and wonder?
What
is and what will be is predestined
The
journey that you’re on is called life
It
has many ups and downs that never stops
Seasons
come and go to prepare you
The
things to come are greater than what’s been
Allow
yourself to enjoy right now for what it is
When
there’s peace savor every moment
Yesterday is a memory and today is all
you have
The years are passing by as you learn
to embrace it
Free your mind to receive the new
things
Trouble don’t last always
