Lamb of
God
13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are
these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?” 14 And I
said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the ones
who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made
them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the
throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on
the throne will dwell among them. 16 They shall neither hunger
anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any
heat; 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will
shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God
will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
Jesus, we thank You for Your
written word that You left with us. We are so grateful to have the Word because
it gives us the hope that no one can shake from us. Our hearts and souls are hungering
and thirsting for Your righteousness and pray to know You fully. We believe
that You are the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. According to
John the Baptist. John 1:29-34 The next day John saw Jesus coming
toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin
of the world! 30 This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man
who is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ 31 I did not
know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came
baptizing with water.” 32 And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit
descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. 33 I
did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon
whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who
baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ 34 And I have seen and testified that
this is the Son of God.”
You gave up Your life in exchange for our
lives. Yes, You did it for us by dying on the cross at Calvary over 2,000 years
ago. You stepped into time by revealing through the Holy Spirit to Mary that
she was chosen to carry the Son of God and call Your name Jesus. Matthew
1:20-25 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of
the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be
afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in
her is of the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you
shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their
sins.” 22 So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken
by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall
be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name
Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” 24 Then Joseph, being
aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him
his wife, 25 and did not know her till she had brought
forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name JESUS.
The way that You move and have worked in
the lives of Your people proves that You are the precious Lamb of God. We are
no longer killing animals for the sacrifices for our sins. Because Your blood
is pure and perfect and was the only blood sacrifice whom the Father was
pleased. Because of You, we received mercy and grace in place of receiving the
Father’s wrath toward us for our sins. Jesus, please stir up a wind of fire
within us, so that we will follow You to the ends of the earth. The holiness
that You require from us we cannot replicate because You are God.
Precious is the Lamb of God who is pure
and white as snow whose blood never expires. Please dip us into Your
righteousness that flows from the rivers in the secret place. The power belongs
to You, the anointed One, the Messiah who bless those who come to You as babes.
Our hearts need the truth please free us from the bondage of knowing the
knowledge of good and evil. Oh, precious is the Lamb of God whose cry is gentle
as a dove and whose fist is strong and mighty.
The revelations of the ancient of days
men fought against Your will. Their rebellious hearts and will turned them away
from the light that exudes You. Help us to stop rejecting You, Your Word,
Spirit, and power because we cannot inherit everlasting life on our own. We cry
holy, holy, holy the Lamb of God. Our lips shall utter praises to You. The
universe listens and moves according to Your will, hand, and Word.
Your love speaks to us through the grace
that You sent to provide a way to save us from sin. Our eyes were blind until
You revealed to us the gift of grace according to the mystery of Your divine
providence. The good news of the gospel has traveled through the centuries
calling sinners to repent and be baptize and follow the Lord Jesus, deep unto
deep Your Spirit is moving upon the earth. We praise Your holy name for loving
us past, present, and future. This light of hope brings joy to every living
soul that it touches and reaches. Ephesians 2:4-9 But God, who is
rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved
us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive
together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and
raised us up together, and made us sit together in the
heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come
He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness
toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been
saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift
of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
This plan was a part of Your
unconditional love that You have for mankind. Lord the brilliance that flows
from Your heart to ours causes us to believe and have faith to live for You.
Our hearts are no longer harden against Your truth because we are crying out to
You, Jesus. Please have mercy on us and draw us to You. The scriptures are
alive and filled with Spirit and power. Those of us who walk by faith and not
by sight cry out to know Your will.
Our vessels are chosen to
withstand the purpose for which You created. We are listening, speak Lord to
us. The days and hours are winding down and the stars are many. We pray for
revelation knowledge to understand how to walk in the Spirit. Please bless our
souls to witness as we mature in the Word. Life and death are in the power of
Your hand, please grant us life to do Your work and will. The honor and glory
are Yours.
Lamb of God the spotless,
perfect, stainless, and the righteous One who sits on the right of the Throne.
Our lives are meaningless without knowing Your will and having a relationship
with You. Through the scriptures You are the way, truth, and the life. Here we
are as sheep ready for the slaughter we give our lives, hearts, will, minds,
souls, and strength to You.
Our pain and suffering are
nothing compared to what You’ve endured for us. The agony that You suffered
before Your body was pierced by the Roman soldier who confirmed his testimony
that the scriptures were fulfilled. John 19:34-37 But one of the
soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water
came out. 35 And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony
is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you
may believe. 36 For these things were done that the Scripture
should be fulfilled, “Not one of His bones shall be
broken.” 37 And again another Scripture says, “They shall look
on Him whom they pierced.”
The beatings, humiliation, spat on, plot to kill, imprisonment,
mistreated, misunderstood, rejected, crucified and yet there was no sin found
in You. John 19:5-6 Then Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and
the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, “Behold the Man!” 6 Therefore,
when the chief priests and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying,
“Crucify Him, crucify Him!” Pilate said to them, “You take Him
and crucify Him, for I find no fault in Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 For He
made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might
become the righteousness of God in Him.
Therefore,
God has spoken, and His Word is everlasting. Isaiah 53:7 He was
oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as
a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He
opened not His mouth. Psalm 68:1 Let God arise,
Let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him.
