The
Vision
Psalm
37:23-24
23 The steps of a good man are ordered
by the Lord, And He delights in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall
not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His
hand.
We must dry our eyes and come humbly to the Lord. Let
us bow down before Him. His presence is with us. We don’t have to go outdoors
to find Him. He’s there within us waiting patiently for us to be still and
meditate on Him. We must ponder about the goodness of God and remember His
works in our lives. The air is the Lord’s that we’re breathing, and He gave us
life. He made us and everything in the universe, the heavens and earth. There
is so much more to see and envision if we would draw closer to Him.
God’s Word is our road map to show and guide us in
our living. His principles, truth and laws are written for our learning and to
help us know His nature. We are given many examples from the Bible of the
experiences of men and women who walked with God. If we believe in the Word of
the Lord, we have the answers to everything that pertains to us. Those of us
who love the Lord are connected to the truth and want to know more about Him.
We are experiencing life here in the earth on this
sphere. However, we may think about life totally from a human perspective.
God is everywhere all the time because He is Omnipresent. We are not alone
although we may feel that way at times. Our trust and hope must be in the Lord
because all other things will fail us and are only temporary. But His Word is
eternal and everlasting. So, we must not leave this earth without knowing our
Savior lives.
The Word tells us that our steps are ordered. Some
will say what does that mean? The Lord made us in His image and uniquely formed
each of us and put inside us gifts, abilities, and a purpose to why He made us.
These special attributes are within us awaiting the time and season to birth
our purpose into the world. This is all for the glory of God when we become
aware of who we truly are because the world will see the vision that God spoke
over us. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward
you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a
future and a hope. Psalm 119:89 Forever, O Lord, Your word is
settled in heaven.
Every storm that hit our lives pushes us into the
arms of the Lord. That’s where we will find refuge and shelter. Our fears and
hope are being tossed around as we cry out to Jesus. He is the Master in every
situation that comes against us. But we must turn to the scriptures to feed our
souls. It is our anchor to keep us planted wherever our feet tread. The Spirit
of the Lord is mighty in battle and His hand is fierce. No matter how long the
seasons last, and the storm lingers, we will get through it.
People of God, we must know that the Word is living
and powerful. This is something that we will learn during the tests, trials,
and tribulations. These things come to strengthen our faith, and to push us
toward the vision that God has fashioned us for. We may be bent, but not
broken. Every step towards the new life that is predestined will reveal that
Jesus is calling us to come to Him. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if
anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things
have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
As we press our way towards Christ, the Holy Spirit
is revealing the Father’s will and vison for our lives. We cannot fulfill His
vision in our strength nor with our intellect. It requires our submission to
the Holy Spirit. He is leading us to the vision as we study and mediate in the
Word. Our steps are ordered by the Word. We need wisdom, knowledge and
understanding to follow and execute God’s plan.
We cannot find this path when our lives are busy with
the affairs of life. The Lord doesn’t want us to miss our purpose because we
will never be able to come back here and do it over. The scripture, “the steps
of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.” Psalm
37:23 The Lord is walking with us on our journey. He loves us enough to
teach and feed us along the way. No matter what our lives may look like
externally. He is within us building an intimate relationship with us. Our
souls belong to Him, and He delights in everything that He have good pleasure.
Nevertheless, we must go through the hard times
because it builds up our tenacity and resilience. These events are ordained to
come into our lives to help direct our steps from entering the broad road that
many are traveling. When we are not at our best and our lives are turned upside
down people who we trusted and counted on tend to walk away. This walk feels
lonely, and the road is quiet because there are no familiar faces, and it
doesn’t seem like no one understands us or really care. Think it not strange
because God will do some mysterious things to draw us to Him. We will leave
behind the life we once lived to find the new life.
This is a part of the vision that God is weaving into
our lives. It doesn’t look amazing, nor does it feel that way at times. But He
is the Master architect of everything that He creates. We see that there are
four seasons that we tend to know when it’s winter, spring, summer, and fall.
And yet, God has seasons when He reveals things to us according to His will.
Every season reveals something to us to prepare us for the next step in our
lives. We must learn to trust the process and grow in having patience because
God is doing something big in our lives that no one can thwart.
In the meantime, we must learn how to love Him
through our obedience by obeying the Holy Spirit and the Word. Our victories,
wins, rewards, and eternal blessings are predestined. The joy of the Lord is
our strength. His power is everlasting and His Word. We cannot want only the
blessings and gifts and not know Him. Because He is the giver of life. When our
eyes become spiritually open, we will understand that the Lord calls us
righteous and good, and He delights in him. We have laid hold of knowing the
truth that Jesus is calling us to be with Him in eternal life. 1 John 5:11-13 And this is the
testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His
Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the
Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you
who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have
eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name
of the Son of God.
Our legacies will bear fruit from our testimonies
because we have found the light. John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them
again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall
not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” This light gives vision to
men who cannot see their way in the dark who cry out to Jesus Christ. He reigns
His power and light upon the world. Drawing souls to His glorious light. Matthew
11:15 He who has ears to hear, let him hear! 1 John 3:2 Beloved, now
we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be,
but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we
shall see Him as He is.
Steps
toward Heaven
I
will not be afraid of evil
If
I should fall or go astray
Jesus
I will call upon Your name
There’s
power and victory with You
For
I belong to You, and I believe
You
have the perfect plan
Please
guide my steps towards heaven
The
angels are cheering for me
I’m
crying and holding on to my faith
As
I envision walking through heavens gates
To
give You all my praise
