Trust God's Plan

Trust God’s Plan

Psalm 33:11-15

The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations. 12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. 13 The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men. 14 From the place of His dwelling He looks On all the inhabitants of the earth; 15 He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works.

The Lord has given us His Word to guide and teach us about His good works and mighty power. We must put our trust and life in God’s hands because He is faithful. The Word tells us that God has a plan for His creations and for those who love and fear Him. There is a day of rejoicing for the people of God who put their trust in the Lord. Therefore, we must live for Christ because He is risen. Revelation 21:1-4 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Saints, we must anchor down and focus on the Word of God. He is telling us about the future and His coming back to gather everything in Him. Ephesians 1:10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. We have the promises of God written in the scriptures, but we must hold on to believing every word till our race is over. There is nothing more important in this life but to meditate on the Word of God and hide it in our hearts. It will fill our minds and hearts with hope that Jesus will bring everything to pass. Because He is eternal and every word that He has spoken will be fulfilled. John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. Luke 8:22-25 Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out. 23 But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. 24 And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 But He said to them, “Where is your faith?”

His power is released through His Word and performs everything according to His command. The heavens and earth, and the universe obeys Him. The Lord is Omnipotent in revealing to us a snapshot of His Masterpiece. Our small finite minds can only hold so much. Therefore, we must humble our hearts and minds and listen to the Holy Spirit. He is the Spirit of truth. Our fight is to guard our heart and faith because the powers of darkness where Satan operates from is watching us. John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant;  because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

We may not understand God’s plan, but our faith sees it from a far. The Word of God is living and breathing life in us as we abide in Christ. His teachings and the life that He lived on earth helps us to envision Him as fully human and yet He was fully divine. Philippians 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. As we pray and study the life of Jesus our minds and hearts will bow to give Him honor and glory for being our Savior. There are great and mighty things that God wants to reveal to us about His majesty and splendor when we obey His Word.

This journey is intimate for every believer; therefore, we cannot predict which way the Lord will move in our lives. But we can show Him how much we love Him by obeying His Word. He is worthy of our time, prayers, worship, thanksgiving, and praise. We are being prepared and trained on how to love and live for Him. This is not easy because we are still inside this physical tent. But still, we must strive to live holy and modestly. As we hunger and seek God’s righteousness will shall be filled. There’s a peace that flows into our souls as we choose righteousness over the temporary pleasures in this world.  Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

The Holy Spirit is revealing to us a message, the Word or something to encourage us, so that we do not lose heart. The Holy Spirit is gentle and will not take our free will away, therefore, we must humble ourselves, listen, and obey. We must honor, love, and respect Him. As God, the Holy Spirit is doing the divine work in us according to God’s plan for our lives. John 15:26  “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. Ephesians 1:13-14  In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. 2 Corinthians 5:5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

There is a day coming when every believer who is sealed to the Holy Spirit will be given to Christ. We are God’s purchased possessions sealed to the Holy Spirit for the day of redemption. The good news of the gospel is preparing us to press toward the goal of Christ. We have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.

Every day we must give honor and glory to God for His Son, Jesus Christ. We serve an eternal God who is judge and fair in all His ways. As we ponder about the times when we were living on our own in the world we searched for love, security, and protection. Many people turned to bad things and ungodly people in wolves clothing pretending to be someone nice. It caused many of them to fall into the trenches of life, despair, destruction, and death for many. Our old lives mimicked the life of being a blind sheep who lost their way and was misguided by the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and the pride of life. But because God had a plan and loved us before we knew Him, we were rescued from the powers of darkness. His love, grace, and the blood of Jesus is always working for us to free us from Satan’s kingdom. He called us to serve Him. Romans 8:28-30 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Today, many of us are still here to testify about how Jesus heard our cry. The power of God disarmed the powers of darkness from destroying us. Truly the Word of the Lord is our strong tower. Saints, we must run our race until we are in the arms of Jesus. He is our strong tower keeping watch over us. His goodness is everlasting and is from generation to generation. Our prayers are being answered, our children will be saved, grandchildren, great grand, friends, and families we’re connected with. We must pray the prayer of salvation and plead the blood of Jesus over all who cross our paths. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

We are the watchmen in the day and night. The Lord is worthy of our praises and obedience to His Word. Let us continue to hope and believe that we are the redeemed because the Bible tells us so. Psalm 107:2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy, Galatians 3:13-14 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Colossians 1:13-14 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:26-27 the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. 27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Now we must rest in knowing that Jesus died for the sins of the entire world. Everyone who repents and turn to Him will live again. His life and blood were given to save mankind from eternal hell. The redeemed must live for God and shout His name because the heavens and earth are His.

Honey Bee

As you labor to build God’s kingdom

Know that your deeds are recorded

Heaven is smiling as you endure

Earth is not your final destination

The path may seem broad

Stay focus and keep persevering

Be about your Father’s business

There will be times of testing

Hold on to God’s unchanging hand

Life is preparation for eternity

Pursue harmony in all things

God’s plan is bigger than you

Pray and keep seeking His goodness

As sweet as honey is to the bees

The Lord will cover you with His love

No matter how life stings

You will reap plenty of honey

Through God’s peace, joy and love
